There were no funds for publishing/mailing hard-copy editions of the Afterburner in 2007 and 2008. Before then, the last hard-copy edition was published in August 2006.   The most recent hard-copy edition was published and mailed in September 2009.

An online version of the Afterburner, the e-Afterburner, is produced three times a year.  To subscribe electronically, click here or on the "Subscribe" option above.  

To opt out of receiving a hard copy -- to save money and trees -- please send your full name, retired rank, mailing address and the last four digits of your Social Security number to afpc.retiree@randolph.af.mil.  Also list if you need to be subscribed to the electronic edition or if you are already an e-subscriber.

Whereas the printed version is sent only to retired Air Force members and surviving spouses eligible to receive pay and compensation (when funding is available), anyone with computer and Internet access may read or subscribe to the e-Afterburner online.
