Hollywood A-lister and businessman Mark Wahlberg will celebrate the first anniversary of “Chief Chat” with his second appearance on the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s military-exclusive Facebook live broadcast.

“Chief Chat,” hosted by Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Osby, the Exchange’s senior enlisted adviser, debuted in April 2020 at the onset of the pandemic to boost morale and foster connections for the military community. More than 100 military leaders, top celebrities, athletes, musicians, authors and more have joined the show.

Anniversary-month guests include:

•           Actress Mayim Bialik, April 6 at 12 p.m. Central.

•           Wahlberg, April 9 at 9:30 a.m. Central.

•           Purple Heart recipient, Marine veteran and author Craig Grossi, April 15 at 11a.m. Central.

“Through ‘Chief Chat,’ the Exchange offers an exclusive chance to connect with military leaders and A-listers,” Osby said. “Guests have a passion for those who serve, and they often share their own stories of resiliency. What started as a morale booster during a very difficult time has now become an interactive way to keep Soldiers, Airmen and military families connected.”

Past “Chief Chat” guests include Tom Selleck, Matthew McConaughey, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Wahlberg, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Garth Brooks. Military leaders such as Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Grinston, Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force JoAnne Bass, and senior enlisted adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Ramón Colón-López have joined as well. All 100-plus episodes can be found on the Exchange’s Facebook playlist and YouTube channel.
