Pat Peek
A tree and plaque dedication ceremony honoring Patricia Peek was held Sept. 26 outside the Air Force Personnel Center at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Peek was chief of Air Force Retiree Services until her death Nov. 24, 2012, at age 68. She was a 30-year civil servant with the center and a force behind the Afterburner; an expert on the Survivor Benefit Plan; the backbone of the Air Force Retiree Council; and a staunch supporter of Retiree Activities Offices worldwide.
