A KC-46 Pegasus assigned to the 931st Air Refueling Wing, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., refuels an F-15C Eagle while an F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-15C assigned to Eglin AFB, Fla., fly alongside while over the Gulf of Mexico, Nov. 18, 2021. The aircraft were participating in Checkered Flag 22-1, a large-force aerial exercise held at Tyndall AFB, Fla., fostering readiness and interoperability through the incorporation of fourth- and fifth-generation aircraft during air-to-air combat training.
